Braces / Orthodontics
Straighten your teeth, improve your bite, and achieve a more confident smile with orthodontic treatment.
Orthodontic treatment uses braces or aligners to gradually move teeth into their correct positions. Braces correct issues such as crooked teeth, crowding, spacing, and bite problems. Treatment takes time, but the result is better-aligned teeth that are easier to clean, look better, and function more comfortably.
Signs You May Need This Treatment
- 1Crooked or misaligned teeth
- 2Overcrowded teeth that are difficult to clean
- 3Gaps or spacing between teeth
- 4Upper or lower jaw protrusion
- 5Bite problems — upper and lower teeth do not meet properly
- 6Self-conscious about the appearance of your teeth
What Happens During Your Visit
Orthodontic Consultation
The dentist will examine your teeth, gums, and jaw. X-rays and photographs may be taken to plan your treatment properly.
Treatment Planning
A personalised treatment plan is prepared. The dentist will explain the type of braces recommended, the expected treatment duration, and what to expect.
Braces Fitting
Brackets are bonded to each tooth and connected by a wire. For conventional braces, this is done in a single appointment.
Regular Adjustment Visits
You will visit the clinic regularly (usually monthly) for adjustment appointments. The dentist checks progress and adjusts the wire tension to continue guiding teeth into position.
Braces Removal & Retainer
Once treatment is complete, the braces are removed and a retainer is provided. Wearing the retainer as instructed is important to maintain the results.

- Straighter, better-aligned teeth
- Improved bite and jaw function
- Easier to brush and floss — better oral hygiene
- Reduced risk of tooth wear from bite problems
